Over the course of one tense evening in a Los Angeles high-rise, two troubled writers unravel each other's secrets. Set entirely during a single evening in a sleek Los Angeles high-rise, two accomplished writers--Maeve (Emily Charouhas, Desperate Housewives) and Phelix (Andrew Villarreal, Kaplan's Korner)--find themselves entwined in a verbal and emotional tug-of-war. As wine flows and the city lights glow around them, their conversation quickly spirals beyond casual chatter. What begins as creative brainstorming becomes a raw excavation of their darkest secrets, past traumas, and fractured psyches. Through pointed questions, sly barbs, and hypnotic tension, Maeve and Phelix each adopt the other as a sounding board and mirror--pushing boundaries as they provoke confessions and revelations. In this intimate, psychologically charged dialogue, the performers fuel a gripping exploration of power dynamics, manipulation, and catharsis.
