Takeshi Nanase's life hasn't been great since the accident that crippled his little brother, who blames Nanase for both that and stealing the girl he loved, while his parents have completely distanced themselves. Since Kurumi, his childhood friend, is not even really his girlfriend, the only thing that Takeshi has left is studying the art of Kendo. Until, that is, he discovers an unconscious girl in a strange uniform and suddenly finds himself in the business of rescuing damsels in distress, facing off against a group of magic users, and ends up with magical powers himself!
