A socially crippled telemarketer (Joel David Moore, who co-wrote and co-directed) working for an auto insurance company befriends a young, beautiful new employee (Amber Tamblyn), who learns that her awkward colleague is a gifted portrait painter. When she agrees to pose for him, however, an unsettling new relationship develops as the artist's neuroses turn dark and disturbing.
